Wednesdays, August 2, 9, 16, and 23

This is the first of our offering of storytimes in languages other than English. Studies have shown that babies and very young children's brains become tuned to whatever language they hear from their caregivers, and "it is now understood that the constant need to shift attention between languages leads to several conginitive advantages," which can be lifelong advantages.
