Library Board of Trustees

WSPL is seeking a passionate and qualified individual to serve on our six -member Board of Trustees. The candidate must be a resident of West Springfield, and will not be compensated for the position. The appointment will be made by Mayor William Reichelt.

• The Library Board of Trustees is seeking an individual who:

• Will commit to provide the best possible library service for the community

• Has an abiding interest in the library and the community

• Shows support for local, state, and national library organizations, joining those deemed most appropriate

• Has readiness to devote time and effort to the duties of trusteeship

• Has the ability to work with people, lead meetings, and communicate effectively
