Qigong: Mindfulness in Motion
Wednesday, July 29, 2020
03:00pm - 04:00pm

Description: Through a combination of gentle movement, mental concentration and breathing, Qigong helps to balance energy and improve participants' focus, circulation, mobility, and sense of well-being. This is a 5,000 year old system from China used throughout the world to support mindfulness, wellness, healing and health. Since the movements are slow and non-impact based, they can be done at any age or fitness level, and can be adapted for people with health and mobility issues. This simple introductory class will teach the basics of breathing and simple movements that can help energize and focus you throughout the day. Please join us for this introductory session taught by Qigong and Tai chi practitioner J.T. Turner.

This event will take place via Zoom. Registration will be required in order to receive a link to this event!
